This week was
awesome. I think this is the first week where I've felt like if I were to go
home, I wouldn't know what to do with myself. I feel like I'm supposed to
be here. Saturday was probably my favorite day + Sunday morning (the primary
program). So, Saturday started off with a really good lesson with one of our
people we are teaching right now named elva! After that lesson, we taught
another one of our investigators named Jesse and he gave me a monster after our
lesson. I chugged that thing and we headed to subway to eat. A song from drakes
new album was on when we were in subway and I got chills. As the day Continued,
we followed our plans and the last hour of the day, we sat down at a bus stop
to look at them. As we were doing that, we just looked up at each other and
were like "Can you feel that?" We felt super bad so we decided to get
out of there and for some reason, we had the feeling we needed to go back to
our -
¿¿¿¿APARTMENT????
Well. We followed the prompting and found Patti! She is super interested in the church and she told us she lived next to missionaries when she lived in Nuevo Laredo (the city in Mexico across the border). She told us that if we come over and teach her about the Book of Mormon, she'll join our church! That was suuuper awesome. Sadly, Carla, our investigator with a Baptismal date, dropped because her boyfriend wants to get married in the Catholic church - Everyone here is Catholic And it is a huge traditional thing here. Guess what? There's nothing we can do about it, so we're going to keep working so we can find the elect of god!
Thought for the week is based off of a quote by Elder Uchtdorf.
"Now is the best time to start becoming the person we eventually want to be."
I'll let that one speak for itself.
LOVE YOU GUYS
SO MUCH!
