Well this week was super good. Right now Id say I am pretty
anxious. Last night were transfer calls and my boy Elder Allen calls me. I
found out after 3 transfers here in Laredo I'm leaving to a place called
Harlingen and I will be district leader, opening a new area, and training a new
greenie who apparently doesn't know English - 3 things I haven't done yet. I
know it's going to be hard but I'm so thankful for the challenge and I know the
lord will qualify those he calls if I trust in him. This week was super good. I
turned 20 this week and it was awesome receiving letters and so much love from
people back home - I love you guys! To top it off my mom had a guy deliver pizza
to our apartment when we got home from working that day. Thanks for thinking
about me! We met a kid named Manuel who had a baptismal date for the 22nd of
December but just yesterday he dropped us because he didn't believe we can
become like Gods. For me this is one of my favorite and coolest parts of the
gospel. We set another baptismal date with a girl named Becky who is super
cool. Sadly she lives outside of our area so she will be getting passed off to
some other missionaries, and lastly max is doing good still. We told him about
baptism and he said it's something he wants but we still have to teach him some
things like the commandments before we set a date with him. I'm sad to be
leaving these people and the place of Laredo. I have learned a lot here. I'm
going to miss the members who feed you like crazy. There are some really
faithful people here and it was a blessing to be around them and with my
awesome comps elder Benjamin and elder beuttenmuller. We had lots of good
times. The mission moves and the work will continue to be something new every
single day which keeps it exciting and different:) please email me and if you
want to send a letter or anything you can send it to:
