Well. I ate breakfast in the shower this morning. Don't ask
me why. The mission is crazy. My new comp is awesome - elder Benjamin. We get
along super well and it honestly makes a world of a difference in the mission
field. He has a laugh just like Travis and weston wardrop and it makes me happy
every time I hear it hahah. This was by far the fastest week I've had in the
mission field and it was sweet. Elder Benjamin and I made a deal that we would
only speak Spanish for 4 days in a row even when we're in the apartment not
talking to people. After it was over I had a hard time speaking in English and
kept going back to Spanish hahahah. We had zone conference with our mission
president. He knows so much its Insane. He basically got so deep and proved
that in revelations its a huge prophecy of the book of Mormon. I was mind
blown. He also taught a lot about having faith, so something I've been trying
to do sometimes is before you knock a door or talk to someone you just look up
in the sky and ask God to give you a blessing or help you. The mission is a
whole lot of getting rejected but then every once in a blue moon God might
bless you with something amazing. This week we found Norma and she was a huge
blessing! We knocked her door and got talking. She said the night before we
came she prayed to god and asked him to please just give her one answer on how
she can find him and be happy in this life, and the next day we knocked on her
door. Norma has a baptismal date for the 24th of November but still of course
that isn't set in stone so please keep her in your prayers. I hope so badly she
can keep commitments and it's so hard sometimes because as a missionary all you
can do is invite but at the end of the day they have their agency to choose
whether they want this or not. Please keep her in your prayers:) Valeria has
been continuing to meet with us and she came to church on sunday which was
good:) we hope she can be baptized on Saturday but some things may change
because she wants her family from monterrey to come to the baptism so we hope
they can make it this weekend. I'm thankful for all of you - all of my friends
and family who are super great examples and supporters of me out here. It
honestly makes a world of a difference and when times get hard I always think
of you guys!
If you want, you can send me a letter or $100 to my address (either ones fine:))!
