I have noticed that being out
here I have literally forgotten words in English and how to spell things. How
this happens so fast and while im still in the united states i dont know. Also
getting adjusted to working out to efy music has been interesting But I've
found it to help just turning the bass settings all the way up on my speaker
and that gets me going. But, If you want to feel a different way than you ever
could in your normal life, serve a mission. I don't care what you say. There is
no way to replicate or compare it to any other experience in life. I put my
word on this. Does this mean it's all happiness? In moments, no. Actually, it's
super hard. On friday literally everyone rejected us and I asked a lady how old
she thought I was. She guessed 35. Rest in peace to my life. I wanted to go
home ahahahah. Satan is doing everything he can to stop us honestly. Its been
pretty annoying. We had to bless our house three times this week. It was really
cool to see just how much faith and power the priesthood has and how everyone
can benefit from it. Sometimes its crazy how oblivious we are to the workings
of satan. If you're finding yourself angry, sad, or all of the above ask for a
blessing! This week was a really tough one filled with rain and lots of
rejection. Satan knows what is happening here (we are about to get a stake here
in laredo!) Well, we set a baptismal date with Jesus's sister Cynthia for the
22nd of September! Cynthia has a daughter named Julieta that is sooo cute and
we have become best friends. She's 4 so not quite baptismal age but she will
get there:) well, we were talking to Cynthia about the plan of salvation, and
Elder Beuttenmuller went soooo hard. I remember just staring at the ground and
being like "OH MY GOSH". He really got her motivated. And then we
asked her, how would you love to live with Julieta again - No matter what
happens? And then julieta just looked back at her mom and we said, "Would
you do this for her? Would you do whatever you could? And Juliet just looked
back at her mom and we sat there for like 10 seconds in silence and she just
looked and looked and then Cynthia just started crying. I was like ohhhh my
goodness this is so crazy awesome. So, now Cynthia has accepted to prepare to
be baptized. Please keep her in your prayers. Like I said last week, these are
dates, but God can take these dates and committments away so fast if we don't
stay humble and do all we can for these people. PLEASE pray for this family! We
can change their lives literally forever with your guys help so please pray for
them! On Thursday it rained SO hard. It was a day where we were constantly wet
and muddy but it was awesome. This week was full of rejections and a little
success also. SATAN WERE COMING FOR YOU !
